How to take WhatsApp orders from your website without sales commissions
Learn how website orders reach WhatsApp, when you need a cart and which costs remain when there is no commission per sale.
You can receive orders from your website with a button on each product or service. In Express, that button opens WhatsApp with the product name and price already written. The customer reviews and sends the message, then your team confirms the order. It is not a cart or automatic payment.
How does the product button work?
Publish a photo, a clear name and a price. The “Order via WhatsApp” button opens your business chat with those details. For example, a fictional product called “House bread”, priced at COP 8,000, could open “Hello, I would like House bread. Price: COP 8,000”. This illustrates the format, not a real customer order.
The customer still needs to send the message. Your team then confirms quantities, availability, address, delivery cost and payment method. Opening WhatsApp does not confirm a purchase or deduct inventory.
How is it different from a cart?
The Express button starts a conversation about one product and its price. It does not collect multiple products, calculate a total or request an address before opening the chat.
A cart lets customers collect products and quantities before sending a summary or proceeding to checkout. That requires a custom project, as do online payments, bookings and inventory integrations. Ask for a scope that explains what data is collected and how each transaction is confirmed.
For these features, request a custom quote. For a simple menu, explore restaurant websites.
What is included and how much does it cost?
Pixelados Express costs COP 300,000 (about USD 75), paid once, with delivery in 7 business days. It is one professional page with sections, responsive on mobile, tablet and desktop. Products or services have a photo, price and “Order via WhatsApp” button that opens the chat with the product and price already written. It also includes a floating WhatsApp button, map, opening hours, social links and a contact form delivered to your email. Use the admin panel to update text, photos, prices and hours from your phone. Basic local SEO includes Google Search Console ready and information for Google Maps. First-year hosting and one revision round are included.
It does not include a custom domain, shopping cart, online payments, bookings or appointment scheduling, multiple pages, a blog or a mobile app. You buy the domain separately for USD 10–20/year; connecting an existing domain is free. Hosting costs USD 20/year from the second year. Extra changes after the revision round cost COP 50,000 each.
The price reflects an optimized process, our own internal tools and a defined scope. It does not guarantee Google rankings, traffic or sales.
What should you prepare and check?
Gather product names, photos you have permission to use, prices, hours and contact details. Explain delivery conditions and decide who answers messages. Keep prices current through the admin panel.
Test each button from a phone: check the destination number, product and price in the message. Test the contact form and confirm the email arrives. Collect adjustments in a list for your revision round.
The demos are design examples for fictional businesses. Pizzeria and restaurant demos may show carts or bookings: these features are not included in Express and require a separate quote.
What does selling through a direct channel mean?
The conversation happens with your business, and you arrange payment and delivery. You still need to account for hosting, domain renewal, customer service and any charges from your chosen payment method. A website does not remove those costs or bring customers by itself.
