The fine print, in plain words

These terms govern your use of the website operated by Pixelados at the domain somospixelados.com (the "Site") and any services we may provide. By using the Site, you accept these terms.

1. About Pixelados

Pixelados is a digital product agency based in Medellín, Colombia, founded in 2020. We design and build websites, mobile apps, augmented reality experiences, Odoo implementations and automations. Contact: hola@somospixelados.com.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Use automated tools to crawl, scrape or download content at scale.
• Attempt to access non-public parts of the system (admin, server, database).
• Interfere with the security, performance or availability of the Site.
• Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, fraudulent or infringes third-party rights.

3. The cost calculator (Quote Wizard)

Our quote calculator at /cotizar produces preliminary estimates based on similar past projects. These estimates:

• Are not a formal commercial proposal.
• May vary significantly after a discovery call where we understand your real needs.
• Are denominated in US Dollars (USD) for clarity and are subject to change.

A binding proposal will only exist when we sign a written agreement (paper or e-signature) with you, with a detailed scope, deliverables and timeline.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — text, code, logos, graphics, photos and case studies — is owned by Pixelados or licensed to us, and protected by Colombian and international copyright laws.

You may reference our work for educational, journalistic or non-commercial purposes with attribution. Commercial use requires written permission.

5. Third-party content

Project case studies may include trademarks or names of our clients (Decor AR, Aukiton, Dan Spa, etc). These belong to their respective owners and appear with their permission as portfolio examples.

6. Service warranties

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability or absence of errors. We do our best to keep it online and accurate, but we are not liable for indirect damages derived from its use.

7. Engagements with us

If we agree to work together on a paid project, the terms of that engagement will be defined in a separate written contract that takes precedence over these general terms.

8. Privacy

The handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you accept that policy.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms. Substantial changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any controversy will be resolved by the ordinary courts of Medellín, unless mandatory consumer protection law grants you a different jurisdiction.
