Nearshore software development in Latin America
Pixelados is a Medellín-based product studio building web apps, mobile apps, Odoo/ERP, augmented reality and automation for companies across Europe and the US. Overlapping working hours, fluent English, senior engineers and fixed scope.
The collaboration of in-house, the economics of nearshore.
Far-offshore teams save money but cost you in communication and time zones. A Latin American team gives you both: overlapping hours and senior talent at a fair rate.
- Time-zone overlap
Based in Colombia (GMT-5): up to 6 hours of daily overlap with Madrid, Berlin and Amsterdam — and a full working day with US Eastern time. Real-time collaboration, not overnight ping-pong.
- Fluent English
The team works in English day to day: standups, docs, code reviews and calls. Spanish and Portuguese too when you need them.
- Senior engineers
You work directly with the people who write the code — no layers of account managers between you and the build.
- Fixed scope & price
We close scope, price and timeline before we start. You own the code and the infrastructure from day one.
One team for the whole product.
- Web apps
High-performance sites and platforms (SvelteKit, Next.js). SEO-ready, Lighthouse 95+.
- Mobile apps
iOS and Android with Flutter and native. Store deployment included.
- Odoo / ERP
Odoo 17–19 implementation and custom Python modules. CRM, inventory, accounting, MRP.
- Augmented Reality
WebAR that runs from a link — no app install. Product try-on, showrooms, campaigns.
- Automation
Integrations and workflow automation (APIs, n8n/Make). Remove repetitive manual work.
- 3D & motion
Three.js / WebGL experiences for brands that need to stand out.
From first call to launch, without surprises.
- Step 01
Discovery call
A 30–45 minute call to understand your goals, constraints and timeline. Free, no commitment. We tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
- Step 02
Proposal & fixed scope
Within 5 business days you get a written proposal: scope, milestones, fixed price and delivery date. No moving targets mid-project.
- Step 03
Build in sprints
We build in short sprints with a live staging URL from week one. You see progress continuously and give feedback in real time during our overlapping hours.
- Step 04
Launch & support
We ship to production, hand over the code and infrastructure, and stay on a monthly support SLA if you want ongoing work.
Nearshore, answered.
- What is nearshore software development?
- Nearshore means hiring a software team in a nearby time zone instead of far offshore. For companies in Europe and the US, a team in Latin America (Colombia, GMT-5) gives you overlapping working hours, easier communication and competitive rates — without the friction of a 10-hour time difference.
- What is your time-zone overlap with Europe?
- We are in Colombia (GMT-5). That gives roughly 5–6 hours of overlap with Central European Time in the morning (our) / afternoon (yours), which is enough for daily standups, live reviews and pairing. With the US East Coast the overlap is a full working day.
- Can you invoice companies in Europe or the US?
- Yes. We work with international clients and invoice in EUR or USD. We can sign an MSA, NDA and per-project SOW before starting.
- What languages does your team work in?
- English for all project communication, plus native Spanish and Portuguese. Documentation, code and commit messages are in English by default.
- What technologies do you use?
- Web with SvelteKit and Next.js; mobile with Flutter and native iOS/Android; ERP with Odoo and custom Python; WebAR/3D with Three.js; and automation with APIs and n8n/Make.
- How does fixed pricing work?
- After the discovery call we scope the project precisely and quote a fixed price and delivery date. If scope changes, we agree the change and its cost before doing the work — you are never surprised by the invoice.
