How we handle your data

Pixelados ("we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of every visitor. This document describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We operate from Medellín, Colombia and comply with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 (Habeas Data) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

Pixelados is a digital product agency based at Medellín, Antioquia · Colombia. For any data-related request, write to hola@somospixelados.com.

2. Data we collect

• Contact data: name, email, company, phone number — provided voluntarily via our contact form, quote wizard or email.
• Quote responses: answers you give in our automation cost calculator (no sensitive information; we never ask for ID numbers, payment data or credentials).
• Technical data: IP address and user-agent — used only for spam protection and basic security.

3. How we use your data

• To reply to your inquiry or send the requested proposal.
• To improve our services based on aggregated, non-personal patterns.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Where your data lives

Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by us in Colombia. We use SQLite, a file-based database, with restricted server access. Backups are encrypted at rest.

5. Retention

Contact records and quotes are kept for up to 24 months from the last interaction unless you ask us to delete them earlier. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be kept longer.

6. Your rights

Under Colombian Law 1581 and (where applicable) GDPR, you have the right to:

• Know what data we have about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Revoke a consent you previously gave.
• Receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email hola@somospixelados.com with "PRIVACY REQUEST" in the subject. We will reply within 15 business days as required by Law 1581.

7. Cookies and tracking

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies for security (signed session cookies in the admin) and for language preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
