How we upgrade an Odoo version
- We analyze the source version, installed modules, dependencies and target availability; for example, from 14/15/16/17 to 18 or 19.
- We prepare a test copy and a recoverable backup. The migration route depends on edition and modules.
- We migrate data and adapt custom modules, views, reports and integrations.
- The client tests critical workflows and validates balances, inventory, permissions and documents.
- We agree on cutover, operational downtime and the rollback plan before production.
Risks and estimation
Abandoned modules, data model changes and incompatible integrations can increase the work. We do not promise zero downtime. After analysis, we propose a fixed price estimated at $20 USD/hour, with defined scope, exclusions and changes subject to approval.

Editions, licenses and localization
We work with Odoo 17, 18 and 19, Community and Enterprise, on Odoo.sh or on-premise. You buy Enterprise licenses directly from Odoo or your partner; we do not sell licenses and work on your instance. We use official localization modules and coordinate with your accountant, without promising tax compliance in the US, Canada, UK or Spain.

01 Can I upgrade directly from Odoo 14 to 19?
We first review edition, modules and data. The route may require intermediate steps and module adaptation; it is defined after analysis.
02 Can we roll back if cutover fails?
We define a recoverable backup and rollback criteria before cutover. Data created after the switch needs agreed handling.
03 Are you an official partner of Odoo?
No. We are an independent team. We do not sell licenses: you buy Enterprise directly from Odoo or your partner and we work on your instance.
04 Do you work with Community and Enterprise?
Yes, both editions. We check feature availability against your edition and license.
05 Odoo.sh or on-premise?
We work on Odoo.sh or your on-premise installation, with authorized access and a test environment.
06 How are hours reported?
You receive a report by task. For hourly work, we invoice actual time every two weeks and share a weekly update.
07 Is there a minimum number of hours?
Hourly work has no minimum: $20 USD/hour. Packs are prepaid; fixed-price project scope is agreed in the proposal.
08 Who owns the code?
The client owns the code we develop for their project. Odoo and third-party dependencies retain their original licenses.
